Was looking for casual easy-on easy-of loafers for work, and these are that. As another reviewer said, these run large - true. I have other Ecco's and I wear a 44. I had to return these in size 44 for size 43, which do fit, although there's an overall loose feeling. These almost seem like a cross between a loafer and a slipper. All that said, I really like them, but they surprise me when I put them on as being somewhat unsubstantial. That also makes me wonder how well they'll last. Regardless, they are comfy! My husband loves these shoes for work; they are so comfortable. I'm giving this product 4 stars because they weren't in mint condition when we received them. They had clearly been tried on a few times and returned. Also, the Ecco box was damaged. My husband loves the fit of the shoes so much that he didn't care if they weren't perfect so we kept them.I have fairly large feet. I normally order a size 14 if it is available. An American 14 can be a little loose at times, however. When I saw these I thought 47 EU = 13-13.5 US and I thought they might be just right. They fit fine without socks but are just too tight with socks. I would say theese are closer to 12.5-13. I will need to exchange them. Hopefully they have a size that is one up.I have had these shoes for four years and have worn them every day. My measurement is 11 and with socks these were a little tight at first but after wearing them for awhile they became more comfortable. I love this shoe. I prefer this shoe over a teeny shoe. All the threading has stayed in tack even though I haven't taken that good care of them. They are very light feeling on your feet. I will be buying them again!I have been using the ECCO men's classics for than 10years. Though pricey, its always a very good investment. It fits snuggily and yet not with an iota of discomfort. I would usually use a size 13 sneakers, but i find the 12/12.5 in the ECCO Classic Moccasin fits just right. Unfortunately, i am no longer able to buy this particular model. It seems to have been replaced by the Moc 2My review is solely based on fit and not the quality of these shoes. Ecco is an excellent shoe manufacturer and the quality of their products is impecable... Sizing though, very misleading; these shoes are way too big compared to US sizes. I am a 9.5 and a 43 was HUGE! please go one full size down unless you like your shoes to fit on the loose side. A 42 wasn't available so I didn't re-order.This is a beautiful quality loafer, but it was one size larger than the stated 12-12.5 M US. I had to return them and order the 11-11.5 M US, which fit perfectly. If it wasn't for that I would have given it five stars.Update 8/17/15: After wearing them for a while, they have broken in and now they seem to fit more comfortably.I wish I had returned these shoes. The fit is much too loose; I have owned 2 other pairs of Ecco's at the same size and they fit fine. I wear a D width in American sizes and these feel like an EE. The leather is much too stiff as well, making for an uncomfortable walk. Not as comfortable as I thought they would be. Seem a little overpriced and look quite big when worn. Trouser cuffs easily catch behind the "tongue" of the shoe. I wouldn't buy again. These are very comfortable shoes. They are wide fitting which suits my feet well. I normally take a 10.5 and these are 11, so slightly bigger than I would normally take, but they still fit well.Fit well, easy slip on and off, but the leather is hard, previous eco mods had nice soft leather, which is why I bought them again. Disappointed.A little tight when l tried them on,so took out the insole as suggested, now a perfect fit, well worth the money.Amazing shoes so comfortable smart no need to say more ,very pleased
