My feet overpronate & about a month ago one of my feet started hurting so bad I had to limp to walk. I had no idea why but it was an all day thing! It was VERY PAINFUL! It was the worse after standing from sitting for awhile & first thing in the morning after waking up for the day. Long story short, I discovered I had plantar fasciitis. I did some research & found the cause was probably due to my house shoes. I work from home & wear very flat sock-like house shoes around the house. I decided to buy these to provide more support in hopes my foot would start to heal….and low & behold AFTER WEARING THEM FOR A WEEK THE PAIN IN MY FOOT IS 95% GONE! The only time I still feel slight pain is first thing in the am after waking up, but it’s SLIGHT. I make sure to stretch my foot & toes for about 20 seconds before standing up & I think that has been helping it as well. That is ONLY first thing in the morning after waking up. I no longer feel the pain when standing up after sitting for prolonged periods throughout the day! No more limping! I am able to exercise again & can tell my foot is truly HEALING! I did find them to run a little large and had to send back first pair went down a half size and they fit just right. They also don't have the ridge around them that can rub the toes like some do.Helps relieve the pain on my heels. Been using them for a few weeks now. I have not been able to find comfortable shoes to wear at home... until now. I read many reviews and decided to take a chance with these slippers. When they arrived, my nerve pain was in full swing so they weren't comfortable at first. It had nothing to do with the slippers. When the nerve pain calms down and I only have the plantar fasciitis to deal with, the slippers are so comfortable and fully support my high arches. After having a long day at work, I look forward to putting on my slippers. They are so soft and my feet feel like they're on fluffy clouds. My feet swell often and I love being able to adjust the straps. I can walk with comfort and with ease in these slippers. I bought size 9 and it fits well. I will buy more when I need to. I don't regret getting them.I love these slippers so much!They fit true to size, which is a big deal for me as I wear a size eleven medium, which aren't always easy to find in a nice-looking and comfortable shoe.I've seen several comments about the slippers being too slippery to hold your feet in place, and in the beginning, I had the same problem and wasn't happy.The "fur" under your feet is extremely slippery from the start, and even with adjusting the straps, my feet continued to slip and slide for days. I felt that eventually it would stop, and I was right.At first, I tried to see if a little dampness would help, so twice I stepped into them directly out of the shower, which caused the "fur" to lie flatter and lose its silky feel, making more of a grip. As soon as they were dry....back to slipping and sliding.After two weeks, my feet began to sink down into the shoes and the shoes took on the shape of me feet, and that's when all the sliding stopped. Once the shoe gets to know your feet, they make friends and all is right with the world.They give great arch support for those who need just a little help in that area, but maybe not so much if you have high arches. I just wanted a little extra support, not much. The outer heel is very sturdy, but also not hard enough to be uncomfortable, and remind me of my favorite brand of sneaker, K-Swiss.I ordered the pink color first, and about two weeks ago, I ordered a second pair in red.The red pair have a little bit of a hard spot on the bottom of each section where the straps connect to the sole, but hopefully as the shoe takes the shape of my feet, I won't be able to feel it. I don't know why, but the pink pair arrived in a bag, while the red pair arrived in a nice "tuck in" style box with tissue wrap. Very nice.Since my family will be wearing red pajamas for Christmas, I'll be saving my red slippers to wear on that day.I do like these slippers, the velcro closing makes all the difference as you can make them as tight or as loose as you want. The would have been perfect with a memory foam insole to make them softer, especially if you have corns in the ball of your feet as I have.These slippers work as well as the more expensive orthotic sandals! They are very comfortable!I got these slippers as a Christmas gift for my mother in law and she completely love it. They are very comfy to wear. She was looking for some kind of orthotic slippers and I am glad I found these for her.It would be good if you had half sizes!! I wear a 7 1/2 shoe size. Size 8 is slightly too big and is usually a bit too long for my feet. Size 7 is a bit too short so my heel rests on he edge and hurts after a while. Other than that the slippers are okay.Très satisfaite , confortable et s'ajuste très bien aux pieds ?
