These shoes Artesia already comfy and are my day to day go to. They seem sturdy. I felt my foot slip a tad when going down hill but that could have been because they weren’t on tight enough. The grip seems good. The one thing I would say though is throat they are pretty narrow and I kind of already have narrow feet. Maybe I should have ordered a size up.I love these sandals as they are very comfortable, lots of cushion and every pressure point where major straps touch the foot there is an extra pad to ensure no rubbing. Like many other reviewers, I too used to buy Tevas and thought they were good, but these are better. I like them so much, that I am buying a second pair. As for size, I usually wear a 6.5 but had to choose the 6.5-7. Size 7 is always too big for me, but these fit perfectly as I was able to adjust all the straps.It’s good now that I’ve broken them in a bit. Like the hot pink color. Love the nubbly feel under my feet. Once all the blisters heal, and the skin toughens and gets accustomed to the thong and pink straps, I’ll be all set. I like Gold Pigeon productsI can’t slip and fall with the shoes because they have so many suction cups on the sole of the shoes-they last a long time and they’re very comfortableI am normally a size 9M for shoes and 9-9.5 for sandals depending on the material. I ordered the 9.5-10 in these sandals. Lengthwise they fit as expected. Widthwise, after I adjusted the straps, my big toe bone/joint (no bunions) looks like it sticks about 1/4 in outside of the sole. I don't feel it when I walk, but when I look down I can definitely see it. So, it definitely looks like these sandals were made for slender feet.The sole is soft and feels bouncy. Haven't walked outside in them so I don't know what it would feel to walk on gravel or rocks. There is no arch support to speak of. The straps are long enough to go almost to the end of the velcro section when vecroed down. The only major issue I have with these sandals while I am trying them on around the house is that the little triangle piece that holds the straps in the front, at the little toe end, both dig into the little toes. I've tried pulling my feet back toward the heel, pushing them toward the front of the sandal.....no change. It digs in. Again, it may feel different on a slimmer foot. I'll wear them around the house for a few more days to see if anything changes. As of right now, my recommendation is that these sandals are for feet slimmer than a M width and don't tend to swell in the summer heat.I ordered black/black and the soles and parts of the straps are white, which I didnt want. Not a deal breaker because I think they will be comfortable. I normally wear size 9 (40 Euro), regular width feet, and I chose size 8 1/2 to 9, which fit perfectly.Very comfortable and I will buy these every year for my entire family!These shoes are amazing! Great quality. This is my second pair of Gold Pigeons and they won’t be my last! I bought this pair because the other pair, while holding up well for over 2 years, I wear them camping anf don’t want to clean them all the time. Buy these, you won’t regret it! They are true to size and looks as good as Teva’s.Super cómodos!! Dos detalles: no tienen soporte para el arco del pie pero realmente a mi no me molesta.Lo único es que la suela sintética hace que me sude el pie :( igual, siguen estando estables.
