I'm by no means an expert. In fact, I've only been lifting for about 6 months, so take this review with a grain of salt.My form for squats and dead deadlifts was sub-par, so I turned to a flatter shoe to help plant my feet better and drive from the heels as best I could. Now my form is almost average. To be honest, I hate squats and deadlifts anyways. Who wants to look like Bambi on ice for three days and look at a flight of stairs and cry a little?Anyways, the shoes are great and helped me out a great deal and I immediately felt a difference. But they're limited to just that, lifting, as the name implies. Except I don't like them on calf raises, my toes tend to slip and I have to readjust by rep 7 pretty consistently. But they're great and helped me learn better form faster.Strictly for lifting. You won't be walking to the gym in them or running on the treadmill to warm up as they are, by design, flat bottom lifting shoes.Ive been powerlifting for a few years and finally broke down and got a pair of these shoes for squats. What a huge difference from flat shoes when squatting to proper depth.Seems bulky for my likingI’ve been lifting in chucks for years. Over plates when squatting there is a lack of heel stability. Enter these wonders; they remain much more stable than my legs during heavy lifts. Great heel support and great feeling in the sole.Sturdy and fit as expected. Considered the more expensive version but glad I went with these.great shoes, look stylish and feel stable for leg daysSuper clean design, sturdy build, performs exactly as needed to improve ankle mobility when squatting!
