This sneaker looks VERY nice. The build quality is pretty good too using lots of materials, and stitching. The "arctic" plastic that "coats" the sole looks very nice and feels quite sturdy. The colorways look clean and draw the eye. There's some suede (or faux suede) sown to the front of the shoe that looks quite nice. Overall I'd give this company massive style points! Seriously. You will look clean af in these (and probably several of their other models too! I'm tempted to buy some more.)My biggest issue is in how they feel. When I first put them on they were surprisingly comfortable with out standing. That weird new shoe discomfort was non-existent. However I wore them to work the other day and my feet are killing me. These things lack MAJOR support. They also squeeze the foot a bit too much. After that I am buying some insoles to provide a bit more support and a shoe horn to stretch the internals a bit to make some room. I'm not sure how that will turn out, but I'm hoping it makes them a bit more wearable. I like the looks of these things a LOT! I just find that prolonged standing or walking in them causes some pain, and discomfort. I want to give this a 5 star, and if they were great function wise as well as aesthetics I'd be there. However foot pain is a big detriment to the product. Here's hoping some insoles help make them more comfortable.EDIT: I can confirm. With insoles inserts these shoes feel great. I recommend by the heaviest duty ones because these shoes are like wearing wooden clogs.I suspect the regular insoles are so hard and stiff because of the clear plastic housing around the outer soles. This is because that plastic is extremely rigid and hard. The insoles are also designed flat. So the shoe is very non-pliable with your foot flexing (as a tennis shoe, or sneaker should be nice and flexible). So it will be as if you're standing on a hard small flat raised piece of plastic. You can imagine the agony my feet were in at the end of the day.When I bought some Dr Sholes Heavy Duty inserts - the pain became minimal. The shoes are still very mildly uncomfortable but feet are no longer in agony after 30 minutes to an hour of wear. It takes roughly 3 to 4 hours for my feet to become mildly sore.So my advice if you purchase the Arctic model is to purchase some insoles with them. I'm sure their other shoes do not hurt nearly as badly as I'm pretty certain the culprit is the material of the housing and design choice for the flat insoles.With that said I stand by my review. Without insole inserts these are a 3 out of 5.
